The movie was declared on 20 September 2018 from Alia Bhatt on Twitter, where She disclosed that the specifics of the film.On 8 April 2019, it had been verified that the primary photography will commence in centre of May 2019.
The principal photography started on 18 May 2019. About 19 May 2019, Makarand Deshpande had been verified to play with with the antagonist. May 2019 alia Bhatt combined the filming. The initial schedule of the movie was finished at Mumbai in the next week of May. The next program started in Ooty in mid July 2019
Sadak 2 Movie Release Date
The movie was originally scheduled for launch on 25 March 2020, but has been pushed to 10 July 2020. It was pulled in the launch schedule as the shooting was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic lockdown at India.
About 29 June 2020, the streaming agency Disney+ Hotstar ran a digital press conference, where Alia Bhatt declared that the movie would be released on Disney+ Hotstar entirely, premiering on 28 August 2020.
